Night Photography - Portrait Session in Downtown Indianapolis

I like it call this one… ‘Drag Your Bestie to Blue Hour’. Fitting name, yeah? I vote yes. This set is a personal session I did with my long time girl, Emily. She is a talented sculptor + fellow creative but I’ve only gotten her in front of my camera a handful of times. So tonight was a treat – imagine my excitement when she volunteered as my guinea pig for some nighttime shooting.

This time of year in Indiana the daylight starts sticking around longer, but it seems like that sweet spot between sunset and complete darkness is fleeting. Well we decided to embrace all of these changes in lighting + I’m quite happy with the results.
