Choosing to capture your engagement pictures somewhere that is meaningful to you as a couple will always be at the top of my list! For these two that meant spending an evening slurping up ramen at Strangebird. Not only does this option lend itself beautifully towards genuine photos that will always remind you of a favorite spot, it also allows us as a trio to get to know one another better. This evening with MG + Steve quickly became one of my all time favorite engagement sessions ever! I’m more excited than ever to be photographing their wedding next fall.

Strangbird has always felt fresh and funky to me so I knew I wanted to match that vibe when documenting. Opting to shoot hybridly with both film + digital was the absolute right choice for this location and this fun couple!
