Sarah Beth, Finn, + Birthday Boy Benson - Dog Mom Portraits in Indianapolis, Indiana

About a month ago I found myself being referred to an old classmate to help her capture some special photos with her pups. Her post read “Yes, I’m being ~that~ dog mom” and of course that’s the exact moment I knew we would work quite well together.

Loved catching up with Sarah Beth, somehow actual years have passed since our paths have crossed so it was nice brining one another up to speed. Hearing the story of how she snuck Benson into her parents’ when he was just a few weeks old and how Finn found his way into her life after his own traumatic beginnings just made me further appreciate Sarah Beth’s dog mom status. It was so clear these dogs are cherished, loved deeply, and justifiably believe they might be humans themselves.

Sarah Beth’s hope was to have these photos taken to celebrate Benson’s fifth birthday! We were able to schedule a pet portrait session two days before his next trip around the sun began.
