I love a good reason to meet with fellow creatives - and when Rin took me up on a special offer I had extended to everyone entering my most recent giveaway, I was thrilled! We were able to escape from a chillier winter day and create some magic within the glass walls of the Garfield Park Conservatory.

Escaping away to this paradise of verdant plants felt inspiring and truly like a breath of fresh air. There’s just something about being surrounded by countless species of foliage that makes you feel a sense of calmness + excitement all at once.

After strolling through the beautiful space of the conservatory we snapped a pack of Polaroid 600s in a handful of our favorite spots. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it a hundred times more, there’s just something instantly dreamy + nostalgic about creating images that are instantly tangible. I’m loving that more of my clients are embracing the whimsy approach of documenting this way.
