Carlee + Austin - Fresh Editorial Couple Studio Shoot

If you’ve followed my photography career/journey at all then you probably remember my beginnings of shooting primarily fashion + editorial styled shoots. I spent over a year creating connections via trade shoots with local models and fellow creatives. Those shoots kept me inspired and growing as an artist, and I definitely feel like quite a bit of credit is owed to those days in regards to where I currently stand as a successful photographer. I spend my days now primarily shooting weddings and creative couple portraiture. I am so so so happy to be doing that; however that doesn’t mean from time to time I miss some of my funkier fashion-forward work. So I decided a compromise might be to allow myself to plan concept shoots during my slower periods. This is a shoot I planned with that idea in mind. Carlee + Austin are a real couple and this is real chemistry. Carlee models for LModelz of Indianapolis and has obviously shared a few tips with her boyfriend. They took this shoot by storm and made all my dreams come true. Special thanks to Barbie for sharing her MUA magic with us.
